Having said that, should you be using the Lich, I reccommend that you go grind a bit to get your health up before the battle, as if he hits you even a few times, you will be dead.

As the entrance to the final battle is before you enter the castle, you should always be at full health for this battle. You cannot shoot straight upwards or downwards so you can get into a lot of trouble if you have too many slimes on screen.The Final Boss of Rogue Legacy is the Legendary Knight Johannes who killed the king. I recommend fighting the slimes one at a time, and strategically planning your shots. Another difference is that you are given a specific character for this fight, so you can attempt this boss fight regardless of your level. Instead you respawn right outside the boss room. Unlike the original boss fight, you do not restart with a new character when you die against this boss. You will earn this trophy once you have defeated Astrodotus and Herodotus. Can be useful when playing as the Half-Dragon to grant more space between the enemy and. Can be useful if being attacked by a lot of melee monsters at once. Knocking enemies back into spikes or down a pit can be very useful. Once you give the Obol to Charon, the boss door will reopen in the Land of Darkness. Herodotus' Obol is randomly acquired from Spiritual Shrines after you have defeated the regular version of Herodotus (see Blennophobia for information on fighting the original).
